DEVINE ORIGINS

Devine Score’s EP "Pinnacle" has been recognized as one of the year's most exceptional releases and selected as Instrumental EP of the Year at the 17th Annual Independent Music Awards of 2019.

DEVINE SCORE was founded in 2016 as a company to create original music for film, television, and advertising campaigns. Since its inception, he has been recruited in the scoring of two feature films and a number of short films. In the midst of two of those scoring projects, the idea for "Pinnacle" was born.

The grandeur of this debut EP is certainly evident, with big bold orchestrations immediately moving into fierce suspenseful musical narratives. The points of most uniqueness are in his use of bold bass lines, driving percussion and searing strings to create an exuberant offering of surprising emotional heft and heart-thumping tension.

Smart and affecting, the first single “Unrelenting”, delivers what you would expect from the title, with an energetic blend that is just downright engrossing. The track "Pinnacle", which is the second single from the EP, confirms the composer’s growing reputation as one of indie’s more exciting and versatile new composers. Devine Score is certainly on his way to developing an impressive discography.
